Penguin of the Month
Dd has received recognition online as the penguin of the month. She has been a member of an online club for barely a month and she has received the coveted award.( I think it is similar to adults receiving employee of the month for a club/organisation.) She was soo excited to learn she won it. Probably has something to do with spending a LOT of time in front of the PC playing games and meeting her school friends online. I think she spends much more time online than her mom now, lol. But it is not that bad as she also learns to type words quickly and create funny stories about penguins and puffles, and learning to surf! I do wish she would do her homework beforehand though.

my boys are hooked on runescape, and anis likes to play dress up brats game and google for pictures of ponies, kittens and rabbits.

Ponies , kittens, rabbits. Wah so cute lah! Dd has only googled sharks, poisonous jellyfish, sea monkeys and other bizarre sea creatures for the past couple of years.

my son is playing some online medieval games now. it does look quite interesting. what game is this penguin award for?
I think it is the club penguin by disney. I'm not really sure what game exactly. Probably for overall interactive skills and just for fun. (It was a week ago and they no longer show it in the bulletin.)
How nice, congrats.Harris has catch on with goggle and with great accuracy (believe it or not) he manage to click on Address space, search for goggle and type his name coz thats the only thing he can spell faultless. But we have to spend hours on dino,cheetah,Goggle Earth and jellyfish.
Wow Super! Harris is really catching on with the net. Could be a whizkid in no time!
